Witex Robin Floor Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian registered company established in the year 2000 as a producer of high quality laminate flooring. The Company was established as a 50/50 joint venture company between Witex AG (a world renowned laminate flooring producer in Germany) and Robin Resources (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (a leading Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) manufacturer in Malaysia).

Due to Witex AG’s financial restructuring in May 2003 and its intention to give up its 50% shares in WRF, Robin Resources (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd successfully negotiated and took over on November 13, 2003 and became the 100 % sole owner of Witex Robin Floor Sdn Bhd.

The take over will prove synergy for Witex Robin Floor Sdn Bhd. which is located  next to Robin Resources’ 170,000 m3 capacity MDF plant.  The plant will be able to benefit fully on the proximity by using mixed tropical hardwood High Density Fibreboard (HDF) from the MDF plant as raw materials. Witex Robin Floor Sdn Bhd will also take advantage of its parent’s existing marketing network Robin Resources presently exports to more than 35 countries and has offices in Malaysia, China, Hong Kong and Singapore.

On 12th January 2004, Witex Robin Floor Sdn Bhd had officially changed its name to Robina Flooring Sdn Bhd. 

The name change completes the take-over process by Robin Resources.

Robina Flooring will continue the same manufacturing operations to produce quality laminate flooring products, equivalent to international standards. Robina Flooring will continue with new marketing team to expand further into new markets and products.

Robina Flooring have established a marketing company in Hong Kong known as Robina Flooring (China) Ltd which has also set up representative office in Beijing.
