Robina
acquires Classen USA Assets.
Robina,
Inc. a subsidiary of Robina Flooring Company in
Malaysia, announces the acquisition of Classen
USA’s assets effective April 1st, 2004.
Robina
Flooring has its own state-of-art laminate
production facility. Its parent Company Robin
Resources, is a coreboard producer. All are
members of the Robin Group based in Singapore.
The group has two HDF plants in Malaysia and
China, with a combined production capacity of
450,000m3
by 2005.
Under
Robin Group, Robina will continue to supply
products made by Classen Germany however they will
also produce and supply new products for the U.S.
market, from Malaysia and China. These new
products will be developed and supervised with the
technical expertise and guidance of the management
team in the U.S.

corporation presents to our distribution and
retail partners. We will continue to value
our close relationship with Classen Germany, but
we will now have access to a host of new and
unique products from Asia, as well as better
protection from currency fluctuations”, said

Robina
will continue with the current Classen USA team
and will expand further into new markets and
products in the U.S. Robina will also
continue to supply CCA Global and its members with
an exclusive line made by Classen Germany.
The
corporate office with the warehouse facility will
remain at the same location in Kennesaw, Georgia.
